Recently, Seattle Magazine recognized Road as one of the best shops in the Seattle area. In the catagory of “Best Shop for Boomers Looking for Color” Road won hands down. In the article, which can be found here, Road receives high praise:
“At this relaxed shop, where all clothing is Road’s own label, life is in the details—particularly those of their woven shirts ($88–$135), made of richly hued, patterned and sometimes embroidered fabrics, terrific over the perfect layering piece: their super-soft Ultimate T ($58), available in a dozen colors. Road’s own newly created denim line comes in ultracomfortable Lyocell Lux fabric (better known by the brand name Tencel, $108), Earthwash (imparting a brown tone, $125) and classic blue-hued stonewash with suede-trimmed pockets ($88–$98).”
Thank you Seattle Magazine, for recognizing good style when you see it.
So, Road was given the opportunity to make over several guys’ wardrobes on Komo’s NW Afternoon in Seattle. Their wives were pretty unhappy with their attire, so we took a look and provided a simple Road remedy.

This is the group that needed the help. We had a lot of work to do.

After the show, hosts Elisa Jaffe and Kent Phillips stuck around for a quick photo shoot with the finished product.
This just goes to show that even the most hopeless can be made over easily with Road Apparel.
